My Life in Quotes

9:18 PM  Because they say it better than I can...

In honor of the 7th, here are seven of my favorite quotes as of late:

1.  "Keep in the sunlight." - Benjamin Franklin
2.  "Some of your hurts you have cured,
And the sharpest you still have survived,
But what torments of grief you endured
From the evil which never arrived." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
3. "If you always do what pleases you, at least one person in satisfied." - Katharine Hepburn
4. "Faith is a bird that feels dawn breaking and sings while it is still dark." - Rabindranath Tagore
5. "I believe… I believe… I believe in the good. I believe that it’s been a hell of a year, and I believe that in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, we will all be okay. I believe in a lot of things…I believe we survive, George. I believe that believing we survive, is what makes us survive." - Grey's Anatomy
6. "You're the strangest person I ever met, she said & I said you too & we decided we'd know each other a long time." - Kindred Spirits, Storypeople
7. "Most of the stuff I say is true because I saw it in a dream & I don't have the presence of mind to make up lies when I'm asleep." - Presence of Mind, Storypeople

...okay, one more for good luck...

8. "Although I was not unhappy, I was happiest with you." - Richard Burton to Elizabeth Taylor.

Love,
Tara
